I'm midwestern girl by birthright and a southern girl at heart. I love Jesus, my family and friends. I'm a Type A, obsessive compulsive, control freak...but in a nice way. :) Nothing frustrates me more than not being able to solve a problem or take care of something myself and nothing makes me feel worse than when I feel like I've disappointed someone...anyone.
I'm a little Audrey Hepburn, a little Mary Tyler Moore and a little Martha Stewart (before she went to prison) all rolled into one tightly wound package. And by the way - I have no idea how to write a blog. Please forgive me as I stumble through this...
I started this blog as a way to share our struggle with family and friends. I'm blessed with an amazing support system and am an open book about our struggle to conceive. The more I've shared, the more I've had friends, family and acquaintances open back up to me and share their stories as well. I'm overwhelmed at the number of women in my inner circle who are or have struggled with infertility at some point in their lives. I'm happy to share this private part of my life so that hopefully someone, somewhere might be able to identify with our little story.
I'll post on other random topics whenever I feel like it...I can't let infertility and 28 day cycles rule my life (or this blog) - I'll go crazy if I force myself to think about it all the time. I love entertaining, baking, cooking (yes baking and cooking are different...VERY different), exercising and am embarrassed to admit watching moreBravo TV shows than I care to admit. (don't judge - RHWOBH are awesome - love me some Lisa Vanderpump!) you'll likely at some point hear ramblings on any one or all of those topics.
